Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team Expands Services
On Jan. 20, about 150 people attended Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team’s (APAIT) Ribbon-cutting and Open House for their new APAIT Health Center in the Pico Union/Westlake area. “The move will expand services to meet the needs of the diverse community residing there. Services will include medical and dental. Councilmember Jan Perry, Ricki Rosales from the City AIDS Coordinator’s Office, and Manju Kulkarni, Executive Director of the South Asian Network were among the attendees,” says APAIT’s Noel Alumit.
