The overall goal of this year's training is to increase agencies' and programs' capacity in the area of Program and Organizational Development for Asian & Pacific Islander (A&PIs) HIV prevention programs as well as in community-based organizations (CBOs) across the West Coast Region. API key staff and organizational leaders of HIV prevention interventions programs were invited to attend this event.
This year, this skills building training was focused on area of Management and Effective Communications as well as The Centers for Disease Control's Diffusion of Effective Behavioral Interventions (DEBIs). Participants were provided a series of interactive tools in effective management communications as well as resources in adapting and tailoring CDC recommended interventions into their current organizational structures.

This event was truly a success with participants from Los Angeles and Orange Counties, Seattle, Santa Clara, San Jose, San Francisco, and even folks from Honolulu, Hawaii.
