H.E.R.O. (HIV Endeavor for Reaching Out) is APAIT's Men's Health Education Program. Our service addresses the multifaceted issues that API Gay, Bisexual and questioning men, above the age of 24, faces.

Through our client centered outreach, one on one counseling and work shops we explore how one's HIV risk is affected by culture, self-esteem, healthy relationships and substance use. Our goal is to increase motivation in reducing the risk for HIV infection, decreasing HIV stigma and increasing comfort in testing for HIV. H.E.R.O. offers the community a resource of support networks and rap groups, among an array of health service referrals like STD testing and mental health.
